Broken for Destiny
Do not be deceived by life’s circumstances, God is moving on your behalf. Those things you have been praying for, they have been answered. Sometimes God must break us from what will keep us bound to our current situation, in order to promote us to the person he has created us to be. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but God has come so that we may have life and life more abundantly. God says for us to cast all our cares upon him, lean not on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge him and he will direct our path. Who is in control of your life? Does the word not say the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord? If you walk with God, there is no room for sin. God is light and there is no darkness in him. So as you walk together, every dark thing is illuminated. Every dark thing is disintegrated. I declare that this is your season to break free from everything that has held you back thus far. God is moving on your behalf. Praise him in all things because it has already been done. Those prayers you’ve prayed, they have been answered.
I lift up my eyes to the hills from which comes my help, my help comes from the Lord. His word is truth. If your help comes from God, stop looking for the answers in man. Is the world not the enemy’s domain and the heavens God’s? God answers us in Spirit for we are Spiritual beings living in fleshly vessels. It takes time for the manifestation of our answer, but that doesn’t mean that he hasn’t answered it. Our eyes are deceptive. It is not only true in the word of God that says, “Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, nor has it entered the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those he loves.” If God is not a God who should lie, then our eyes have shown us contradicting information. Our eyes have shown sickness when God has declared us healed. Our eyes have shown addiction when God has declared us delivered. Our eyes have shown lack when God has declared us plentiful. Science has also proved that our eyes play tricks on us. That the things we think we see, is not always as it seems.
God is able to do just what he said he will do. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us…” Don’t believe the enemy’s lies that tell you, you won’t make it through this tough time. God is not only with you but lives inside of you. He is protecting you, loving you and guiding you. God will never leave you nor forsake you. His will always prevail above our own and the enemy’s. If it’s not working, then it’s not meant to. Stop trying to make things work. When we try to manipulate our own situation we end up doing more harm than good. We become the child who is desperate to fit the puzzle piece into the wrong space. Why isn’t it working? How come every time we get back together the relationship falls apart? Doesn’t the word say that two cannot walk together less they agree? If you walk with God and they don’t, don’t you think that is the biggest disagreement of all. God is holy and righteous. He is light. Light illuminates and there is no place for darkness.
Trust in God for he will not lead you astray. He says, I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, to give you a hope and a future. God will not reveal everything to you, but knowing his character should give you peace of mind and joy at heart. The character of a man dictates the actions of a man. God is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent. You are the treasured love of God. He has you in mind saying, “I know the plans I have for you. Plans not to harm you but to give you a hope and a future.” Trust in God. Some things in our lives must first be torn down before new construction can happen. Don’t believe the lies of the enemy that tells you God doesn’t love you. God loves you more than you can image. He loved you so much that in the midst of your sin, he died for you. Think about it. Would you be tortured and killed for someone who wronged you? Nothing you go through in life will be wasted. As Psalm 119:71 says, “It was good that I was afflicted, so that I might learn your commands.” Trials build character and if we let it, strength. Let God break down the walls in your life, so that he can build his kingdom. Like the Israelites, he has given you the land, but first the walls of Jericho must come down in your life, so that you may access God’s promise and destiny for you.
