Remembrance

Sometimes, I wonder do we really understand all that Jesus went through on our behalf. If we discount the emotional and physical struggle he had to endure before the cross, he still went through more than we can imagine or comprehend. All of us have been in pain, if we can think of the most severe pain we have ever been through, Jesus went through worse. If we had a betrayal that we feel ruined our life, think of Jesus and Judas. This was a betrayal

that ultimately ended Jesus's life. Nothing we go through in this life measures up to what Jesus went through. To make what Jesus did even more spectacular is that he went through this for sinners/us. How many people can say they would go through their worst pain, their worst betrayal or trial again for someone who hated them and treated them poorly? I know I wouldn't. I'm not going to lie and say that I reached the point that if someone hurts me enough that I will still go out of my way to bless them. It's difficult to do that, but to die for them?

Today, I can't help but remember the sacrifice Jesus made for me. A woman with blemish and sin in her life, because we were all born into sin. Sin is natural, it is in our nature to be sinful, but holiness comes from above. Holiness comes from the one without stain or blemish. God sent his only begotten son to die for us, in our place. How many innocent men are willing to go on death row in the place of their enemy? Don't forget that the world God saw, was a world that denied him. A world that didn't love him or appreciate what he had done for them. Yet! Yet, God loved us so much that he went through what no man would be willing to do, for a people who didn't deserve it.

Women who are looking for a man who will love you through hell or high-water. Women
who are looking for someone who won't hold your past against you, but love you because of it. This is who you've been searching for. The Messiah, the Great I Am, the Prince of Peace...Jesus Christ. For he loved you enough to die in your place and rise again to claim your hand. God wants to be the man in your life, the number one in your heart. Because with God, you can expect the constant grace and mercy that many of humanity fail to give you. You can have the peace, health and sound mind. God is everything we need to survive. This isn't to say that God doesn't have a husband for you who are waiting on one, but this is to say that no man can take the place of God. No man will love you like God does. The same goes for you men out there. No woman will love you like God loves you. You are his son, highly favored and treasured.

So today, let us remember what God has done for us. Let us take the bread-the body of Christ and the wine-the blood of Christ and give the Lord thanks for his sacrifice because what need does a sculptor have for his clay. Clay that refuses to form in the sculptors hands, why keep mere clay? We forget we are a creation by a master artist. He made us through love, but isn't it much easier to start over a piece of art that has been ruined than to fix it? God chose to fix the solution rather than start over. God chose you! You are his precious creation, his adopted child through Christ. He loves us! Oh how he loves us!
