Love 

You have gripped my heart with both hands

Transformed my soul into liquid joy

My lips pour out nothing but-love spoken words

For I am my Father’s daughter

The king of love’s fire

He consumes me, renews me

And I can do nothing but love

There is one

One with eyes like silver seas

Whose heart holds mine

Whose lips speak love-caught in this holy flame

We are wrapped by love

Cocooned in it’s warmth

Our faces lit like Christmas trees

Joy has found us

Love

Crackling, snapping, warmth, burn

You are versatile in your ways

You have captured me

Forever in your fiery embrace

And I will not scream for freedom

For I am a Phoenix of love
